Five Of The Best Cleaning Hacks For Your Bathroom
There is nothing worse than a tired, dusty and downright grubby bathroom. Keeping your bathroom clean can be a lot of work, especially if you have children. However, these cleaning hacks will help you to keep your bathroom in all its shining glory, without working you to the bone.
Lemon Juice
Believe it or not, but these natural food products are really handy for cleaning the watermarks and scum stains that can build up in a bathroom. Slice up a fresh lemon and rub it over your taps, with very little effort the water stains will disappear, leaving your taps shining like new.
White Vinegar
Cleaning shower heads can be a real faff. To make it easier, fill a plastic bag with white vinegar and water, tie this around your shower head. Then, the good bit, leave it alone for a while. The vinegar will dissolve the limescale and scum that can clog the showerhead.
Dry Your Toilet Brush
Toilet brushes are pretty disgusting. When you’re done using yours, the last thing you want is for it to drip all over the floor. Before you pop it away, give it the chance to drip dry. Slip it under the toilet seat until it’s dry before you put it away.
Hang a Squeegee in the Shower
The easiest way to have a spotless shower screen or door is to act before the limescale builds up. If you hang a squeegee in the shower, all it takes in a quick 15 second wipe down at the end of a shower, and your screen will stay lovely and clean.
Put Baking Soda in the Bin
If your bathroom bin has a lingering odour, then sprinkle some baking soda in the bottom the next time you change the bag. The baking soda will absorb the bad smells. You can even add a drop or two of your favourite essential oil to help your bathroom smell fresh, clean and pleasantly fragrant.
